About the activity

Our rock climbing sessions are the perfect opportunity for those looking for a bit of adventure alongside their exercise. This activity offers rock climbing sessions tailored for disabled people with complex needs.

Taking part in this activity will help you to develop your health and fitness, strength, coordination, independence and communication, and support you to carry out everyday tasks.

Please note a ยฃ5 fee for this activity will be need to be paid at reception on the day. This can also be paid via phone directly to The Climbing Station on 01509 217636.

Who is this for?

This activity is suitable for both beginners and those with previous experience of climbing. All climbs will be suitably chosen to suit the participant. This activity is suitable for disabled people with complex needs, aged between 6 and 16 years old. Participants must attend with a responsible adult.

This session is part of our seasonal holiday programme.

Who is the activity leader?

Our coaches Roger and Emily, have lots of experience in rock climbing and working with disabled people with complex needs. They are friendly, considerate and adaptable in their delivery style.

Accessibilityย 

The activity is held at the Climbing Station. There is a large car park, with plenty of parking available. Inside, there are disabled toilets and changing facilities available, if needed.
