About the activity:

*Note: Due to pool capacity limitations, you will need to book a ticket for every person who is looking to attend the session (including siblings, parents, carers).

An inclusive disco… with a twist! Dance, splash and socialise in New Barnet Leisure Centre’s sensory pool. Their shallow learner pool (depth: 0.9m) has been fitted with multi-sensory technology.

This activity is run from the pool at New Barnet Leisure Centre one Saturday per month from 2-3pm.

This fun, upbeat aqua disco will follow a free play set up and will therefore not be instructor-led.

Who is this for?

This session is targeted at children and young people aged 4-16 years old, who are disabled with complex needs. Please note this is quite a shallow pool (depth: 0.9m), but we hope it will still be enjoyable for older (and taller) children.

Who is the activity leader?

Accessibility:

The centre has disabled parking, changing facilities with a hoist, and a pool pod for accessible entry into the water.

A parent/guardian/carer will need to be in the water with the child/young person that they are looking after.
