Named a ‘Rising Star’ in the Shaw Trust’s Disability Power 100, Pravjoth Gill is a disability advocate who uses her lived experience to empower disabled people. Pravjoth, 24, who has cerebral palsy, was an advocate for disabled students during her time at Birmingham City University, where she organised the university’s first ever Disabled Student Conference.

A finalist at last year’s Inspirational Youth Awards, Pravjoth also runs the ‘Our Rights Podcast’ and founded a small business called Movement Fitness and Nutrition, where she works with disabled people to create personalised fitness and nutrition plans.

I’m delighted to be asked to be a judge for this year’s Sense Awards. Advocating for and empowering disabled people is something I am passionate about, so myself and the charity Sense really align here. I’m excited to learn more about all the nominees and wish everyone nominated for an Award the very best of luck!
