Online sessions for families of disabled children

We know it’s not always easy to attend sessions in person, so our virtual service brings the fun to you! These accessible and engaging activities are designed to help your child join in and feel included from the comfort and safety of home.

Wellbeing for parents and carers

We know the wellbeing of our whole family is vitally important. That’s why we offer parents and carers the opportunity to join in wellbeing activities that are aimed at helping you take some time to relax for your own wellbeing.

Sound bath – You will be immersed in the healing sounds of gong, himalayan bowls, chimes and more to create a space where you can relax, soften and connect to yourself.

Hatha Yoga – You will be encouraged into a sequence of asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control) and meditation to align the body and breath, calm the body and mind, and prepare for meditation.

Access to digital provisions

We aim to help families who are unable to access essential digital resources due to a lack of working devices and/or internet data. As members of the Digital Services Consortium, we’re working to provide families with the tools they need, such as laptops and tablets, to help them get connected online.

Our Toy and Tech loan service offers families the chance to borrow a specialist resource bundle for approximately six weeks to trial at home. Items have been chosen to offer a range of different sensory stimulation so you can explore what works best for your child. The resource bundles include items such as sensory building blocks, light projectors, musical instruments and switch-adapted toys – there’s something for everyone!
