Sensory rounders offers the opportunity for disabled people with complex needs and sensory impairments to play rounders in a more sensory and engaging way, adapted for their specific needs.
Each sensory rounders activity is designed and delivered to reach individual desired goals and celebrate every achievement. Sensory Rounders is designed and delivered in partnership with Rounders England.
Do you want to provide your own sensory rounders activities?
Attend our sensory sport training workshop and learn how to deliver meaningful activities for disabled people with complex needs.
A 2.5-hour virtual or in-person training workshop, suitable for sports coaches, teachers or support workers.
The workshop includes:
- An introduction to sensory sport
- Tips on how to plan sessions
- Practical activity guidance
- Support for evaluating sessions
Every attendee receives a handy toolkit with activity ideas and session templates.
