Sense Abassador: Lee Ridley

Lee Ridley (aka Lost Voice Guy) is an award-winning stand-up comedian, who was crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent in 2018 and of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2014. The first stand-up comedian to use a communication aid, Lee’s TV appearances span the likes of The Royal Variety Performance, Comic Relief and Live At The Apollo.

Lee, who has toured the UK with his shows I’m Only In It For The Parking and Cerebral Lol-sy, has been a long-timer supporter of Sense’s campaigns and in 2024 he presented the charity’s annual Awards. Lee, who has cerebral palsy, has performed at festivals across the country including Edinburgh Fringe and Latitude Festival.

I’m very happy to be supporting Sense as it marks 70 years of supporting disabled people with complex needs to connect with others and be included in the world.

Unfortunately there are still serious issues affecting disabled people, with far too many being denied the right level of care or financial support.

I look forward to being a charity ambassador as Sense keeps working towards long-term change, standing by the millions of disabled people in the UK.
