Max, who won Sense\u2019s Person of the Year in 2022, was diagnosed with Visual Snow Syndrome in 2021 after living with it their whole life, and they are also Deaf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Max uses their YouTube channel as an educational tool, reaching thousands of people with their videos on chronic disability. Max is also a drag king, who uses canes and BSL to make their drag performances educational, inclusive and even more entertaining for the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-hs-group    margin-bottom-4xl\">\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote is-style-primary-tint-10 has-x-small-font-size\"><blockquote><p>As a previous Sense Awards winner, these awards have a special place in my heart and I\u2019m very happy to be back this year!
