Lisette is passionate about telling the stories she struggled to find growing up \u2013 those that reflected her northern, working class, disabled and neurodivergent experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisette, who was discovered after winning a competition held by publishers Puffin, has recently published her third children\u2019s book to feature a young, disabled protagonist.
