We&#8217;ve been blown away by her incredible resilience and positive attitude at a time of adversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emily has had a very challenging few years, after being diagnosed with bone cancer in February 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emily, 16, has an acquired brain injury from neonatal hypoglycaemia, causing global development delay, complex epilepsy, a visual impairment, cerebral palsy and autism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Emily was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive bone cancer called Ewing\u2019s Sarcoma, her parents weren\u2019t sure how she would cope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emily\u2019s parents, Caroline and Andrew, say they are extremely proud of their daughter, and that they couldn\u2019t have dealt with all the things she has been through.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-hs-group  \">\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block    accordion__item\"> \t<summary class=\"accordion__title\">\n\t\t<span class=\"accordion__toggle\">\n\t\tDescriptive transcript of Emily&#039;s video\n\t\t<\/span>\n\t<\/summary>\n\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p><strong>Emily faces her dad and smiles as he speaks.
