This activity can be done at a time that suits you, either in your own space or in an educational setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n  <div class=\"wp-block  box    is-style-textured-grey-tint-10\">    <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is this for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a sports activity for people or groups of people who are deafblind or have complex needs, and can be enjoyed by anyone.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n  <div class=\"wp-block  box    is-style-textured-primary-tint-10\">    <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why does this make a difference?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity supports social inclusion and getting active, helping build confidence and independence through learning new skills and making friends.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to play<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you\u2019ll need<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A ball<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two or more target markers like buckets or cups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A club or a bat (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rules of the game<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Players take it in turn hitting, rolling or throwing the ball towards the first target<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once they\u2019ve hit the first target, they go and stand next to it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From there, they repeat the first step, aiming for the second target<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The goal is to get to the end of the course in the fewest turns \u2013 encourage the players to do this independently, and to really stretch when they push, throw or hit the ball away<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n  <div class=\"wp-block  box    is-style-textured-secondary-tint-10\">    <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top tips<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To make it easier, put the targets closer together, or place them further apart to make it more challenging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Players can use a ramp to push the ball down if needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have a big enough space, players can continue, players can continue their turn on the second target, while others are still finishing their turn on the first target<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make it more sensory by playing a noise every time the balls hits the target, and give the target a nice, bright colour to make it clearer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This version of golf involves two targets and a group of players that take turns trying to reach the end of the course.
