Each of our fundraising agencies we partner with are specialists in what they do and believe in our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you can find out&nbsp;where Sense will be operating face-to-face fundraising, how you can identify our fundraisers and what information they&#8217;ll ask you for.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our fundraising activities include bookable private sites and door-to-door fundraising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our face-to-face campaign takes place across the UK. Our fundraisers ask for a regular monthly commitment in the form of a continuous recurring card payment that will be set up on your preferred date each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our fundraising campaign and recruiters comply with strict approval of governed guidance issued by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Fundraising Regulator and Sense policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can you identify our fundraisers?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sense fundraisers can be identified by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-secondary-bullets\">\n<li class=\"has-x-large-font-size\">Their Sense branded uniform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-x-large-font-size\">An identification badge showing their name and ID number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-x-large-font-size\">They have a letter of authorisation allowing them to collect Continuous Card Payments on Sense\u2019s behalf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What details will our fundraisers ask you to provide?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our friendly fundraisers ask for a regular monthly commitment from our supporters in the form of a continuous card payment. The Fundraising Regulator is the independent regulator that was set up in 2015 and regulates face-to-face fundraising. The Fundraising Regulator is responsible for ensuring charitable organisations, including Sense, follow a strict code of practice.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block    accordion__item\"> \t<summary class=\"accordion__title\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"accordion__toggle\">\n\t\tHow does Sense ensure vulnerable people are not targeted?\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/summary>\n\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>Fundraisers employed to work on behalf of Sense receive comprehensive training before they can start to represent us, and they will also receive refresher training at regular intervals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also attempt to conduct a welcome call with our new supporters. Our call agents are trained to look out for any signs of vulnerability during these calls and to flag any instances where the interaction raises any concerns.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block    accordion__item\"> \t<summary class=\"accordion__title\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"accordion__toggle\">\n\t\tIs the information I provide safe and secure?\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/summary>\n\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>Your sensitive and personal information will be collected using a secure password protected tablet and once entered the fundraiser will no longer have access as this goes to a secure password protected payment processing site.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block    accordion__item\"> \t<summary class=\"accordion__title\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"accordion__toggle\">\n\t\tWhat is the purpose of a welcome call? \n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/summary>\n\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>Following a regular committed continuous card payment sign up with a fundraiser, our call agents will attempt to telephone new supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as thanking them for their kind generosity, these calls are designed to ensure we have the correct information and to get feedback about our fundraisers.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block    accordion__item\"> \t<summary class=\"accordion__title\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"accordion__toggle\">\n\t\tWhat agencies do you work with?\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/summary>\n\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>Our partner agency for our Face-to-Face fundraising activity is Gather Campaigns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gather connects charities with supporters who have genuine interests and passion for the cause. Gather specialise in offering bespoke face-to-face activity.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block    accordion__item\"> \t<summary class=\"accordion__title\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"accordion__toggle\">\n\t\tI have some feedback or a complaint to make regarding your face-to-face fundraisers. Our teams will aways ensure that all Sense fundraising activity meets these requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our fundraisers only work in areas where a licence has been granted by the local council to fundraise up until 9pm, which includes weekends and bank holidays, which we find are our most successful times to visit.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Find out\u00a0where Sense will be operating Face to Face fundraising.
