{"id":37002,"date":"2023-10-06T15:31:38","date_gmt":"2023-10-06T14:31:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sense.org.uk\/?page_id=37002"},"modified":"2023-10-06T15:34:52","modified_gmt":"2023-10-06T14:34:52","slug":"the-2022-cost-of-living-support-fund-evaluation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sense.org.uk\/about-us\/our-impact\/what-was-the-impact-of-our-cost-of-living-support-fund\/the-2022-cost-of-living-support-fund-evaluation\/","title":{"rendered":"The 2022 Cost of Living Support Fund evaluation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\t<div class=\"banner    is-style-primary-tint-10  banner--over-left  align-full\">\t\t<div class=\"banner__wrap\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"banner__flex\">\n\t\t\t\t<figure class=\"banner__figure\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1800\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sense.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/EN-background-Cost-of-living-v2-1800x700.jpg\" class=\"banner__img\" alt=\"\" style=\"object-position: 73.59% 43.10%;\" \/> \t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"banner__content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n  <div class=\"wp-block  box    is-style-textured-grey-tint-10\">    <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p class=\"is-style-intro-xl\">We gave 1,000 grants of \u00a3500 to disabled families, in response to the cost of living crisis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-intro-xl\">Here&#8217;s a look at the fund&#8217;s impact and what we learnt.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block  slab    is-style-textured-primary-tint-10  align-full\">\n  <div class=\"wrap\">  <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-title-primary\">Who did we help?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The majority (69%) of the households we helped were families with disabled children. 21% of households lived with a disabled young person and 10% with a disabled adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-primary-bullets wp-block-list\">\n<li>81% of the families were in receipt of carers allowance. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>43% lived in social housing. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>62% of the families we supported had a net income level of \u00a318,000 or less.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over 95% of families were on a means-tested benefit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>83% of the grant recipients were people who access a Sense service.
