The team focus on sharing the impact of arts and creativity; under the leadership of the three artistic directors. Sense Arts are positioning themselves as sector leaders and are exploring attitudes towards disability arts and challenging assumptions of what disabled people can and cannot do.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-hs-group    align-wide\">\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lisa Simpson, Sense\u2019s Artistic Director For Dance<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignright is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"For Lisa, choreographing is like designing with bodies\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zc-Vrwi21kI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa is a choreographer and workshop leader who has pioneered new techniques for making dance and choreography inclusive. She has quadriplegia cerebral palsy and uses nonverbal communication.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt Sense, we\u2019re creating dance opportunities that are accessible for all types of disabilities, including complex needs. Many people with complex needs have not yet been given the opportunity to realise their creative potential. We\u2019re changing that.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tanya Raabe-Webber, Artistic Director for Visual Arts<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignright is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"We should all be free to express ourselves through art | BSL\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AvupG6MZ71c?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sense.org.uk\/get-involved\/sense-art-gallery\/artists\/tanya-raabe-webber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Tanya <\/strong><\/a>is an award-winning disabled artist whose work has been showcased by the National Portrait Gallery and who has partnered with Apple, The Big Draw and BBC4.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVisual arts are a brilliant tool of self-expression and something that everyone should be able to practise. At Sense, we\u2019re supporting people to explore and develop their creative abilities.
