Are you having a clear-out? We\u2019ll happily take your second-hand clothes, books and toys in one of our Sense shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are four easy ways to donate your unwanted things to Sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Pop into a Sense shop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If the items you\u2019re giving away are small enough to carry, then feel free to bring them into your local Sense shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of our friendly shop staff can take the donation off your hands. And you might even be able to pick up a bargain while you\u2019re there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Visit a donation bank<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Items we can\u2019t accept as donations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Please note, there are some things we can\u2019t accept in our shops. Check the list below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Upholstered furniture without a fire label, including all items donated as sets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Candles without instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Electric blankets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Electric showers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sunbeds and tanning equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Waste disposal units.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Gas appliances (mains or bottled goods).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Gas cookers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Oil filled radiators (not supplied with a thermostat).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Oil heaters (mobile).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Storage heaters (hardwired).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Oil and gas agas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Buoyancy aids, lifejackets, inflatable dinghies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Safety helmets, riding hats, crash helmets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cycle helmets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Safety harnesses of any sort.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Children’s car seats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Toys without a CE mark.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Home recorded DVDs, video and audio tapes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
