You can keep healthy and active with our arts, sports and wellbeing programmes, and can even go on day trips, all with the support of our Sense staff.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-title-primary\">Who is Basecamp for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-hs-group    align-wide\">\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Basecamp is for adults with complex disabilities. Everyone is different, but many of the people that we support have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-primary-bullets\">\n<li>Sight and hearing impairments (deafblind\/multi-sensory impaired).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sight or hearing impairments with additional needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A combination of other challenges, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or autism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-title-primary\">A safe and supportive environment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-hs-group    align-wide\">\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Here at Sense TouchBase Pears, we have equipment and facilities designed to make your visits to us ever better! We have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-primary-bullets\">\n<li><strong>An adapted kitchen <\/strong>\u2013 adjustable worktops and equipment mean that you can get involved in cooking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interactive sensory equipment <\/strong>\u2013 including a giant interactive screen, resonance chair and projector units.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Arts and crafts space<\/strong> \u2013 dedicated areas for you to get messy and creative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fully accessible toilets and changing facilities <\/strong>\u2013 these meet Changing Place standards and include a tracking hoist system and plenty of space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-title-primary\">Express yourself your way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-hs-group    align-wide\">\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">At Sense TouchBase Pears we take the time to understand your way of communicating \u2013 whether it\u2019s through speech, sign, symbols, objects of reference, gestures or body language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">You\u2019ll be supported to express what matters most to you, like your needs, goals and aspirations. &nbsp;And will have lots of opportunities to communicate with new people, make new friends and discover shared interests.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-title-primary\">Make your own choices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\t<div class=\"wp-block-hs-group    align-wide\">\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">You\u2019re unique, and your care plan will be too.
