Students might have one or more of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-primary-bullets\">\n<li>Complex needs, which may include learning disabilities, physical disabilities and\/or autism.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complex communication needs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deafblindness\/dual-sensory impairment\/multi-sensory impairment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Single sensory impairment with additional needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sense College learners must have an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sense.org.uk\/information-and-advice\/life-stages\/childhood-and-school\/send-education-special-education-needs-disabilities\/education-health-and-care-plans\/\">education, health and care plan (EHCP).<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is Sense College?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sense College is a specialist further education college for young people aged 16-25 with special educational needs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Sense College learning experience will be tailored to you via a curriculum that encompasses preparation for adulthood, keeping safe, and British values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to learn independent living skills like cooking or money management? Or study for educational qualifications? You\u2019ll find the support you need to reach your personal goals at Sense College.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also an adult social care day service for over-18s. Collectively, these locations are known as <strong>Sense College East<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other location is <a href=\"https:\/\/college.sense.org.uk\/\"><strong>Sense College Loughborough<\/strong><\/a>, in Leicestershire.
