It\u2019s for anybody aged 5-18 who has a disabled sibling, or who helps care for a disabled parent or family member at home. The service is unsuitable for young carers of someone with an addiction.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n

We connect siblings and young carers to develop meaningful friendships, providing them with opportunities to try new and fun activities, and giving them respite from their caring responsibilities to support their wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Most of the action takes place online, with a wide variety of activities offered each month through Zoom (video call software), so that anybody in the country can access them. If you have trouble getting online, we can support you.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Yes! By signing up to our siblings and young carers service, you can access our groups in Birmingham and Loughborough. These take place once a month on Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n

\n\t\tDo you provide counselling for young people who have a mental health condition?\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/summary>\n\n\t

\n\n

While a young person with a mental health condition can sign up and access our service, we cannot provide counselling for them. If you have any concerns regarding mental health, we recommend contacting your GP for support.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
